9 weeks and 5 days till the St. George Marathon! I practiced taking a gel each 4 miles throughout our long term like I do within the marathon and specializing in hitting the paces for the objective of the run.

I ran 16 miles general, 2 x 4 miles at a mean of 6:44. Have I advised you who I’m operating with? Thursday: 9 miles (4 on roads, 5 on trails) @ 8:56 moderate with 715 toes of hiking. 30 minute simple on motorbike/10 miles.

Friday: 3 mile w/u, 5 miles cardio threshold (6:49 tempo) for 8 miles @ 7:20 moderate tempo.

Saturday: 16 miles @ 7:11 moderate. 4 warm-up miles, 4 miles @ 6:51 up the canyon (extra AET miles), 2 miles simple, 4 @ 6:36 down the canyon, 2 cool-down.

Mileage for ultimate week: 62!
